A surrealist physical comedy starring one woman who plays every role on stage.

Blending elements of burlesque with the grotesque in a camp, seductive, rage-fuelled spectacular. Forcing audiences to use their imagination and face their own confusion, biases and fervour.
Written and performed by Rhysy Williams — a Berlin-based, 21-year-old actor, dancer and theater-maker from the UK. Since performing TQH for a whole month at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024, where she won the Keep It Fringe Award, the show has become a second skin for her and is never performed the same way twice.
This show was birthed from Rhysy's previous classical theater experiences in the UK and the need to unapologetically tell stories of experiences never presented — in abstract, Berkoff-inspired, camp, theatrical spectacles.
Since coming to Berlin to study film, playing in an award-winning short film about a gay tarantula and becoming a vogue fem statement within the ballroom scene, this has created a unique platform for Rhysy and she intends to continue pushing for true and authentic storytelling across the mediums of theater, screen and more.

This project picks up and develops those questions in a specific context. We focus on how cultural practice produced by marginalized communities can be documented on its own terms and how it interacts with traditions that have long benefited from public structural appreciation and support.
This is a project in its early research phase. First outputs are in development. The focus is on methodology and specific case studies, with particular attention given to respecting first-person authority over the stories studied and told.
